Father's Day in Review

This past weekend was Father's Day (as you know).
We had a simple "stay at home" celebration.
Here's a photo re-cap:

It was a lovely evening.
The kids gave their gifts "jointly":
  • Tennis Balls (hubs loves tennis)
  • A children's book "I Love You Daddy"
  • A trophy (from Target) for the "BEST DAD EVER"
  • A Root Beer Sampler (DIY with free printable coming tomorrow!)
  • A pic (inspired by my father's day photo ideas...only no pressure on the hubs to be in a pic)
Oh and did you see the adorable gift bags?
We made those! (DIY coming soon)

All in all it was a great day.
And being a rather emotional sap...I couldn't help but reflect on all the many qualities that make my hubs the "BEST DAD EVER".

Here they are (in no particular order):
  • Fair/Just
  • Patient
  • Kind
  • Compassionate
  • Playful
  • An example of goodness
  • Loving
  • Concerned
  • Thorough
  • Pro-active
  • Intentional
I love you Joshua James.
You are an amazing Father.
Our children are blessed by you each & every day.
