Our Thing 2 will be entering kindergarten (sniff) and to be quite honest...I'm a little worried he won't be able to survive without ME!
Who will remind him to wash his hands, push in his chair, zipper his pants, and put his shoes on the right feet?!
Wanna take one of these worries off YOUR plate?
I've learned a trick for keeping those shoes on the right feet.
Allow me to introduce you to "kissing feet"...
Step 1: Draw a simple smiley on the inside of the shoes |
Step 2: Place shoes on feet so that the smiles can Kiss. (these are his skateboard shoes...very loved indeed) |
If smiles are kissing you got it Right! Ta Da! |
My fun friend Amanda...who lives in Texas (sad)...shared this tip with us during a recent visit!
It works like a charm!
We are officially ready for Kindergarten!
Any Kindergarten ready tips you wanna share with us?

ReplyDeleteI've seen this before. Very clever! I can't imagine how difficult it is to send your little one to school all day. He'll be fine though, don't worry! all his classmates will need reminding to zip their pants and every other little thing too :o)
ReplyDeletemy biggest tip as a kinder teacher-show your excitement about him going and get him excited about it :o)
Such a great idea! I just have to do this. My oldest is starting preschool so it would be great to have some things to give him a one up ;)
