Apple No More...

To wrap up "Read Across America" week, Friday was Fancy Dress Day at school. They were so dapper...like little men. Their G-Nan has been patiently waiting for some photo's of her great grandsons. So we seized the moment and headed to a local {former} farm stand.

They are so big. So handsome. So absolutely adorable! Don't you agree?
Thing 1, could easily be in commercials or on a billboard...his smile melts the camera and he is so cooperative during every photo session. Thing 2, has mastered the art of the school picture pose...head tilted, hands on hips, slight smile...then he's off on an adventure somewhere. Thing 3, looks just like his daddy and his uncles...and I'm thinking he shares their feelings towards getting his picture taken. Thing 4, has more personality than can fit in his little body...and with every pic pose there is always 1 picture where he is walking right to me, with his 3 smiling big brothers in the background.

Clearly, I love taking pictures...so I'm especially thrilled to see Thing 1 develop a love for being behind the camera. He took the pics of me and the one of the field. He got a camera for Christmas but there's something extra special about getting to use Mommy's camera. I had to pry it from his hands when it was time to leave. {I love it!}

Interesting tid bit: Did you know that outdoor pics turn out best on over cast days? (Or...right sunrise and sunset) It's a little something I've learned along the way. Thought I'd share.
Friday {the day these pics were taken} started out as an overcast day, but ended up being quite sunny indeed. Hmmph. Guess I'll have to catch the clouds another time.

  2. First thing I thought was "Oh I love the ties!" I've decided that little boys that match- or are just dressed up are cuter than little girls that match or are dressed up super fancy. (Dont tell my daughter!) And your boys are just too cute anyways. :)
