World Autism Awareness Day

Today is World Autism Awareness Day.

2 Years ago our 2nd oldest was diagnosed with Autism...at the time we scoffed, like many parents do. Now, we see it and wonder how we ever doubted, it totally fits.
We've come to accept and love {most of} our little guys quirks and specialties.

Still, many days are challenging. Very challenging.

Support Autism Speaks : be a voice, make a donation, wear blue...visit HERE for more details on how you can help/love/support families on this journey.

  1. I am wearing blue today! As a teacher I encounter many families like yours... with LOVELY children who just don't fit the 'norm'. I know, from an outside kind of knowing, that it is a challenge, but how blessed your son is to have parents have come to accept and love him just as he is! And how blessed you are to be able to learn to love in a new way. Blessings to you all as you continue this journey!

  2. I didn't know that. I have a friend whose son has Autism... I am wearing blue today too in awareness day!

  3. I've been doing my "Homework", about Autism...Blue is a good color...Working to bring these precious children out of there inclosed world, is challenging....God knew who to pick for his mom...He will guide and direct your path, as you and Josh and his siblings, walk together by faith....Love and prayers, Nana

Love his smile. Melts my heart...

Thank you for the note!
