30 weeks

 Only 10 more weeks to go!

It seems I have compete previa
{not gonna get into all the juicy details here, you'll have to google it.}
Which means I will most likely need to have a C-section to deliver this little guy.

I have 1 final Ultra Sound at the end of the month to see if anything has changed before the C-section is officially scheduled, but the odds are not "forever in my favor."

I know that C-sections are super common & rarely complicated but the internet is all about scaring you with medical facts and I was all about reading them and being scared.

It's taken me a little while to get used to the whole idea/stop having worst case scenario nightmares.

Regardless, I CAN'T WAIT to meet our littlest...he is going to have so much fun with this gang! I want to see how pudgy his cheeks are and if he'll have his daddies hazel eyes. Ooh, and I wonder what color hair he'll end up with. Will he have any?

Bonus: scheduling delivery means  we can be super prepared and not have to stress about: child care, hospital bags, meals, spontaneous labor, pickle shaped baby heads, first days of school, or missing out on a very special wedding that we have every intention of being at...

  1. Oh my gosh- that is so exciting. The end is in sight :)

  2. YES YES YES :) I need your smiling faces there!

  3. I've only had a c-section and I didn't think it was scary. No matter what...It will be magical!!!!!

  4. darn web md. can't wait to see photos of that perfect c section head! not like marrin's little newborn "oh god, put her hat back on!" pictures : )

Thank you for the note!
